Pipo Ultra U2 - 7 inch tablet

This is not only my 1st tablet but my 1st Android device.   I wanted to get a better understanding of the Android market and get some hands on experience with this operating system.  Challenge myself to learn something new.  There seem to be more and more Android devices on the market and I felt a need to become familiar with this new environment.
Originally had my eyes on the Ainol Novo 7 Fire/Flame  (also a Chinese built tablet) but at the time of my interest, there weren't any in-stock for purchase.  After several weeks I discovered that there was going to be a Flame II (possibly some bug fixes and enhancements) so my thoughts turned to that model but again,  it was not yet shipping.  As we approached Christmas time, I made a quick decision and picked up the Pipo U2 tablet, it had decent specs and I found a good deal on one.

PROS
1. Nice, bright, sharp IPS screen.  Even at the 1024X600 resolution the images and videos look excellent.
2. MicroSD card support up to 32GB
3. HDMI out port
4. Snappy performance
I like the Pipo U2 of course being my 1st tablet, I don't have a lot to compare it to.  My wife does have the original iPad and she just purchased a Kindle Fire HD.  The Safe and Expensive tablet purchase is always an iPad but I didn't want to buy into another Closed system and the Kindle Fire (and other's like it) restrict the true Android experience.  As a casual observation, the Pipo has snappier performance then the Kindle Fire, which was a bit of a surprise.

CONS
1. The Wi-Fi performance is spotty, as it has a habit of dropping the connection whenever I'm at the other side of the house (away from the router).  I've updated the firmware and also re-positioned a 2nd router a bit closer.  Now it performs very well most of the time.
2. My other main complaint (which might be a positive for someone else) is the bezel is very small on this tablet.  This means I often get some false touches just by holding the tablet.  I'm training myself to hold it a bit differently in order to prevent this distraction.
3. With Bluetooth turned on and playing a video, there seems to be an issue.  I don't recall noticing this prior to the latest firmware update, so I'll have to see if I can repeat the problem.  The video studders until I turn bluetooth back off.  Some additional testing is needed to confirm this is a real issue or a one-time blurb.
