I've read that this is maybe a beta release we/you might want to skip!!

While it corrects the problem with the HDMI out, you now lose Root access as well as some other issues have been mentioned.  As I get more info about this release I'll pass it along.  For now,  I have no plans to upgrade to this release.

I'm currently running the 0407 beta and after a re-flash, I lost the ability to add lock screen widgets... since I lost that feature and the browser performance seems to be lagging, I might go back to a prior firmware version.  I'm not thrilled about re-installing all my apps so I may wait another week to see if a new/better 4.2.2 firmware arrives!



We need a tutorial on the use of Titanium Backup!!  Maybe someone can do a video on how to backup the user apps and data so those of us who do frequent firmware updates can save a little time!
